the Artist
Jan Richardson is a ceramic artist in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her six-decade career spans functional, figurative, and abstract genres from Appalachia to outer space. Jan is currently working and teaching at the Morean Center for Clay and the Safety Harbor Art and Music Center.

Studio
Jan has a studio in the Morean Center for Clay, a rehabilitated train station in the Warehouse Arts District in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her studio and classroom look out over the Pinellas Trail, a Rails to Trail project landscaped with native palmetto.
